School Visits & Workshops

We’re very excited to bring you Bootle Children’s Literary Festival 2023 and looking forward to inspiring local children through stories and wonder. We have the support of some amazing authors and organisations, sharing our passion to see children's lives improved through reading and creativity.

School Offer

Author/Artist visit to school ONLY (1 assembly and 2 workshops) - £250
Kingsley & Co visit ONLY - £250
1 Author/Artist visit to school AND a Kingsley & Co class visit. Plus 100 Golden Tickets allowing students to choose a FREE NEW book at Kingsley & Co. - £400 (please make sure to complete a separate order form for each)
Medieval Giant Games in the Castle with In Another Place - £3 per student (Staff are FREE)

Kingsley & Co school visit includes;

2hrs for 30 children including a literary workshop (either Morning or Afternoon)
A 30 minute challenge to escape the dragon's lair
Fairy tale quiz
Free book of choice for each child
Hot chocolate/juice and cake.

If you would like to bring 2 classes, please book two tickets (an additional £200 will be invoiced - maximum 2 classes per school) Just a gentle reminder that transport to Kingsley & Co is not included and will need to be arranged by the school.

Medieval Giant Games in the Castle includes;

In small groups children will play 40 minutes of challenging and fun games in an enchanted medieval castle! There will be a mix of physical and mental challenges with opportunities for problem solving and team work throughout. (If you would like to visit either before or after your Kingsley & Co visit, In Another Place can offer a basic lunch space, near to public toilets)
